When we first started the company, we believed that we could build a platform in order to create the in-person or high-touch sales experience online, hence the name “SaleMove”. Over time, we have come to understand that amazing customer experiences that combine the human and digital go beyond sales only. Our platform is doing much more than “moving sales” for our clients so we’ve made the decision to build a brand which supports that wider vision of what our clients are achieving.
We’ve undertaken this corporate name change with purpose and enthusiasm. We believe that “Glia” more accurately represents who we are, how we think and what we do for our clients. From the Latin for “Glue”, Glia conveys unity and utility. In addition, Glia are the cells in the brain that provide support for our nervous systems and make neural communication possible. This is a metaphor for our mission to be the support system for how businesses communicate with their customers. Our vision is: “Glue the human touch with technology to create the best customer experiences”.
