We are looking for an energetic, people-oriented, and diligent People Operations Specialist. This role will report to our New York City office to create and support an exceptional work environment for the Glia team. You will also drive employee engagement through online events for our remote team. This role will be a well known face to Glia and have the opportunity to create foundational impact on a high growth company.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage NYC office, ensure inventory, supplies and snacks are always available. Work with facility management and service providers for cleaning and security. 
  • Support the employee experience including onboarding, promotions, HRIS updates and general questions regarding benefits/perks
  • Create and lead company wide events and other engagement activities. Focus on unique virtual experiences for our global team. 
  • Partner with HR, Talent and Strategy team on special projects and creating new processes 
  • Champion for ERG’s and EDI committees

Requirements:

  • 2 years in people operations, event Management or workplace experience
  • Must be willing to report to the NYC office space 
  • Presentation Skills; You are excited to be in front of a audience (virtual or not) 
  • Calendar Wizard; Scheduling and organizing come easy to you. You have experience managing team wide calendars 
  • Events Expert; From planning to the end result, you love creating memorable experiences 
  • Tech Savvy; You’re in tune with the tools that make your job easy and create a good experience for our team 
  • Strong Creativity; You think outside the box and believe the world is your oyster 
  • Detail Oriented; You know in a fast moving environment the little things matter
