The role 


You will support our conference strategy and Glia Event Series. Our platform shines for in-person conversations and you will be coming up with creative ways to present that value. You will also lead Glia’s presence at virtual events as they are now a large part of the field marketing calendar. 

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and execute the events marketing strategy for 50+ annual events, including developing plans, managing budgets, and serving as the liaison between sales leadership and corporate marketing
  • Conduct vendor and venue research for hosted and attended events, negotiating with venues, managing supplier relationships and coordinating on-site logistics
  • Ensure events are delivered on time and within budget by setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Provide leadership and input on field requirements for integration into corporate-run marketing programs
  • Ensure feedback flows from sales leadership to marketing leadership to drive alignment of event marketing investment to sales goal attainment

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in B2B event marketing roles with proven results
  • Track record of developing targeted marketing campaigns across verticals, solutions, and products to achieve revenue targets
  • Domestic travel will be required for this position once in-person events resume.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with sales teams– 
  • Experience managing detailed events & programs budgets
  • Excellent communicator with superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
